31 Days of Prayer For My Children

31 days of prayer for my children

Lately, I have been convicted of how little I intentionally pray for my children. I so desire to see them love the Lord with all their hearts, to love their neighbor as themselves, and to see spiritual generations of disciples come from their lives. I long to see them to grow up to be people of mercy and compassion, who are respectful and truthful in all things. There are SO many things I want for them and I so quickly forget that I have little control over fruitfulness in their lives. I must be diligently praying for the Spirit to be at work in their lives, transforming them into the likeness of Christ more and more with each day. Then, as I pour these things in to them, I can pray for GOD to do the work. I decided I needed a push to pray more diligently, so I made this printable of 31 days of prayer for my children.

I hope this can be a resource for you to go through along with me each month as we seek to disciple our children, firstly giving their lives over to the Lord to do His mighty work in their lives. It was hard to fit everything I wanted to pray for into one month’s worth of topics, so it is by no means a comprehensive list of things to pray for my children, but it is a good starting point as I seek to ask God to be at work in their hearts. I’ve also specifically chosen verses that remind me not to just desire growth in morality in my children, but growth in loving God with all their hearts, and fruitfulness being a product of the power of the gospel at work in and through them.
